Invitation to the 2nd Thailand Bioinformatics Research Network (TBRN) International Conference
Since its establishment in 2023, the Bioinformatics Academy Association of Thailand (BAT) has been dedicated to fostering collaboration and innovation among researchers and students in bioinformatics. Through our annual conference, we provide a dynamic platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and expertise, featuring distinguished speakers, esteemed scientists, senior researchers, and aspiring young scientists from both Thailand and around the globe.
This year, BAT is proud to collaborate with the Center of Multidisciplinary Technologies for Advanced Medicine (CMUTEAM) to host the 2nd Thailand Bioinformatics Research Network (TBRN) International Symposium, taking place at the Centara Riverside Hotel Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, from January 22 to 24, 2025.
We warmly invite you to join this prestigious event, where participants will have the opportunity to present and share their research through poster and oral presentations. Selected contributions will also have the option of being published in the symposium proceedings, ensuring their valuable work reaches a broader audience. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process to ensure the highest standards of quality and relevance.
In addition to scientific sessions, the symposium will feature an exhibition showcasing cutting-edge equipment and supplies for protein research, along with engaging Luncheon Lectures. This provides an unparalleled opportunity for attendees to explore recent advancements in bioinformatics, engage with leading experts in the field, and connect with industry partners.
We look forward to welcoming you to Chiang Mai for this exciting gathering of bioinformatics professionals. Let us come together to celebrate innovation, forge meaningful collaborations, and drive the future of bioinformatics research.

Dear esteemed colleagues, distinguished guests, and participants,
On behalf of the Bioinformatics Academy Association of Thailand (BAT) and the Center of Multidisciplinary Technology for Advanced Medicine (CMUTEAM) at Chiang Mai University, I am delighted to welcome you all to the Thailand Bioinformatics Research Network (TBRN) Symposium under the theme "Biology-Inspired Pursuits."
In the vibrant city of Chiang Mai, where ancient temples meet modern innovation, we are thrilled to host this prestigious event. Our symposium aims to explore the intersection of biology and technology, fostering new insights and driving advancements in the field of bioinformatics.
Over the next three days, you will have the opportunity to hear from world-renowned experts who will share their latest research on genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, and proteomics. Our plenary speakers will delve into cutting-edge techniques and discuss emerging trends, inspiring us to create novel tools and approaches for analyzing omics data. Their contributions will undoubtedly inspire us and deepen our understanding of how bioinformatics can lead to meaningful advances in science and medicine.
Our distinguished keynote speaker will delve into the vast potential of big data in understanding the complex interactions between the human microbiome and metabolism. Additionally, our invited speakers will present their groundbreaking research on the rice genome, durian metabolome, and single-cell analysis, providing valuable insights into the complexities of biological systems.
As we delve into the intricacies of biological systems, we will be guided by the principles of nature itself. From the intricate patterns of omics to the complex interactions within cells, our symposium will showcase how bioinformatics can unlock the secrets of life.
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our plenary speakers, keynote speakers, invited speakers, sponsors, and participants for their invaluable contributions. A special thanks to the organizing committee and volunteers whose tireless efforts have made this symposium possible.
We invite you to actively engage in discussions, network with fellow researchers, and explore the exciting opportunities that await you here in Chiang Mai. Let this symposium be a catalyst for innovation and a source of inspiration for your future endeavors.
Welcome to the 2nd Thailand Bioinformatics Research Network (TBRN) Symposium!

On behalf of the organizer, welcome everyone to Thailand and the 2nd Thailand Bioinformatics Research Network (TBRN) conference!
We believe that Bioinformatics is not just a small and inconsequential part of the biological and medical research. Instead, it is now the crucial part, or in some instance plays a central role in illuminating biological phenomena and giving medical insights to us. Therefore, we would like to invite everyone, students, scientists, and investigators alike, to embrace bioinformatics analysis into their fact-finding process, leading with biological or medical questions and pursuing the objective truths.
We invite every discipline that are using Bioinformatics to submit the abstract to our conference; agriculture, medicine, biology, biochemistry, forensics, bioanthropology, evolution, and more. We divided the conference into three sessions, running sequentially through a three-day event: Genomics, Transcriptomics, and Proteomics/Metabolomics. We hope that by exposing all the participants to multidisciplinary sessions, there will be cross-pollinations of ideas, methods, and further collaborations among the participants. Along the way, there will be the showcasing of novel technologies from our generous conference partners, which might be invaluable to your future, if not immediate, research questions.
We hope that you will enjoy the camaraderie amongst bioinformaticians and computational biologists. Keep pursuing the truth with bioinformatics!
